Remote control system for local ventilation fans in mines

System Overview

According to the new concept of fan control and management, a remote monitoring system for local ventilation fans in mines is constructed using computer control technology, programmable controllers, frequency converters, and network technology. This monitoring and control system can realize the operation status of the fan, remote operation of the fan on the ground, and automatic (manual remote operation can be selected) start stop setting of the fan on a daily basis. Ground monitoring software can record historical data of local fan operation and testing; Capable of transmitting the operational information of the entire mining bureau fan to authorized browsing users through the local area network; Constructing a remote monitoring system for local ventilation fans in local mines to achieve the goals of safe production, greatly reducing power consumption, and improving efficiency by reducing manpower.

System Composition

The online monitoring system for wind turbines consists of an upper computer, an explosion-proof PLC control cabinet, data acquisition sensors, video, switches, and other systems. Install one upper computer in the dispatch room and arrange one mining explosion-proof and intrinsic safety PLC control cabinet near the local fan control switch.


System Function

Wind power lockout: When the local ventilation fan stops running, cut off the power supply of all non essential safety electrical equipment in the controlled area and lockout it (except for the power supply of the local ventilation fan); When the local ventilation fan resumes operation, it is allowed to restore power supply to the controlled area.
Gas electric interlocking: When the methane concentration reaches or exceeds the power-off concentration (usually T1 is greater than 1.5%, T2 is greater than 1.0%, or T3 is greater than 0.5%), all non essential safety electrical equipment in the controlled area will be cut off from power supply and locked (except for local ventilation fan power supply); when the methane concentration is lower than the restoration concentration (usually T1 is less than 1.0%, T2 is less than 1.0%, or T3 is less than 0.5%), power supply to the controlled area will be restored.
Fan switching: Under normal circumstances, any fan that stops running will automatically switch to standby operation. This function can be manually set to be activated or deactivated. Real time data display: Real time display of parameter values, equipment operating status display, process monitoring display, fan operating point analysis display, simulation diagram display.
Printing function: Print monitoring daily reports, monthly reports, reports for various time periods, historical data curves, etc. Storage record function: The system has real-time storage of monitoring data from all monitoring points.
Alarm and control function: If the monitoring value of any monitoring point meets the alarm conditions, both the computer and monitoring device can issue an alarm.
Networking data interface: The system provides a complete set of open data interfaces, which consist of two files: real-time data files and initialization files. The real-time data files are updated regularly. At the same time, the data interface can be adjusted as needed. Monitoring parameters can be transmitted to the dispatch center or the network system information center of the group company.
