System Overview

Transportation is the artery of the mine, while lifting is the throat, which fully reflects the importance of the mine lifting and transportation system in the mining process. Mine lifting and transportation are important links in the coal mining process. The lifting of coal or gangue, personnel, materials, and equipment from each working face underground all need to be completed through the lifting and transportation system. Therefore, improving the safety, reliability, and stable operation of the system is a prerequisite for ensuring the daily production of coal mines and the personal safety of miners. The mining company also attaches great importance to daily maintenance of equipment, shafts, etc. However, the daily maintenance is time-consuming, labor-intensive, and affects production and personnel lifting. Personnel conducting maintenance inside the shaft also pose significant safety risks.
Replacing manual labor with intelligent devices is the trend of future coal mine development. AI artificial intelligence is the eyes of coal mines. By monitoring the wellbore of AI artificial intelligence coal mines, it can identify whether there are hidden dangers such as deformation, water seepage, and misalignment. The intelligent detection system for coal mine shafts based on video intelligent recognition is the "eagle eye" of coal mine shaft maintenance and the loyal "guardian" of coal mine equipment. This system provides assurance for improving the safe operation of the system. The system adopts advanced digital video technology and Al image intelligent recognition technology, installs high-definition cameras, monitors and identifies hidden dangers in the wellbore through Al algorithm, captures photos, and automatically records videos, which not only saves manpower and material resources, but also provides protection for improving the system.

System Architecture

The system mainly consists of a mining wellbore detection terminal device, a mining sealing and intrinsic safety power box, video recognition and analysis software, intelligent recognition and analysis server, etc. The system structure is as follows:



The AI wellbore detection terminal device adopts an integrated design, which can be easily and quickly disassembled. The detection device is equipped with a dedicated high-speed high-definition wide-angle camera, which can cover a 210 ° detection area. By installing it separately on large and small tanks, it can achieve 360 ° blind spot shooting. The installation location is shown in the following figure.



The following figure shows the internal composition of the AI wellbore detection terminal device, mainly consisting of three intrinsically safe high-speed high-definition wide-angle cameras, three high-speed strobe fill lights, a video analysis storage unit, and a battery unit.



System Function


1. Video monitoring function

The system can collect real-time video images and store them locally for recording, with clear and stable images.

2. Safety hazard identification function

It can effectively identify hidden dangers such as wellbore deformation, water seepage, wellhead deformation, and abnormal tank channels.


3. Wide panoramic image function

The captured video can be spliced and processed by a ground computer to form a wide panoramic image of the wellbore.

4. Offline AI intelligent recognition function

Intelligent analysis and identification of hidden dangers can be performed on stored video recordings.
