System Overview

The Al intelligent video recognition and protection control system for coal mine conveyor belt utilizes Al image analysis technology to identify and analyze the coal quantity, foreign objects, coal stacking, and deviation of the main and auxiliary conveyor belts in the coal mine. Real time coal quantity statistics of the entire coal flow and energy-saving speed regulation of the entire coal flow are formed into a database after the system is built, which facilitates future coal quantity statistics and data analysis. The system mainly includes several functions such as belt coal flow speed regulation, coal quantity statistics, belt large foreign object capture, and coal stacking. Realize video detection of the entire coal flow control area, intelligent alarm locking for violations, achieve intelligent real-time control, and solve the integration problem of coal mine safety production and machine video analysis related technology applications. Improve the intelligent management level of coal mine safety; shorten the operation cycle, improve system response speed, reduce safety accidents, and achieve intrinsic safety; Through remote automatic control and intelligent alarm linkage for unsafe behavior, unmanned operation has been achieved, saving energy, reducing costs, and increasing efficiency.

System structure and composition

The system mainly consists of a full coal flow analysis platform, Al analysis device, streaming media server, client host, coal flow camera, large foreign object camera, ordinary intrinsic safety camera, laser, constant current source lamp, thermal imaging camera, etc.

Main functions of the system

1. Intelligent and unmanned belt linkage speed regulation

Intelligent and fast linkage control and decision-making, achieving unmanned and intelligent coal transportation with high speed and low speed, and fixed transportation based on mining. Based on the detection of coal flow in the entire mine belt, a speed regulation mechanism is implemented to achieve energy saving and consumption reduction by running faster with more coal and slower with less coal.

2. Instantaneous coal quantity statistics of the entire coal flow

The coal flow camera calculates the instantaneous coal quantity in real-time based on the belt running speed and coal volume, and submits the instantaneous coal quantity to the full coal quantity server platform through the network. Finally, the instantaneous coal quantity information of all belts is displayed as a whole through the client.

3. Centralized control and intelligent speed regulation

The full coal flow control system achieves centralized control of the belt through protocol docking with the belt centralized control system. The full coal flow control system avoids the problem of control conflicts between the belt centralized control system and the full coal flow control system,.

4. Belt block detection

Real time capture of large blocks on the belt using a large foreign object camera, and classification based on their size. The alarm information for the large blocks is written into a database, which can be classified and statistically analyzed through the client.

5. Belt foreign object detection

Real time capture of foreign objects, anchor rods, and coal water on the belt through a large foreign object camera, and classify them according to the alarm level, and write the alarm information into the database. Classification and statistics can be performed through the client.

6. Reprinting Point Coal Pile Detection

Install one coal stacking detection camera at each conveyor belt transfer point. Using image semantic segmentation technology, edge extraction is performed on belts and coal piles to identify the regions of various objects. Even in different work scenarios, with low image contrast and complex objects, this type of algorithm still finds the object area well. When a coal stacking scene occurs, the coal stacking detection camera controls the belt to run at full speed through a switch output.

7. Prohibited entry into dangerous areas

By delineating relevant areas for regional surveillance, when personnel enter the designated area, they will immediately sound a voice alarm (the alarm sound can be customized), and output a dry contact signal, which can give an alarm signal or directly lock the equipment operation to ensure on-site safety production.

8. Locking linkage

The coal flow camera, large foreign object camera, and coal stacking camera all have switch output functions to achieve belt locking control.

9. Visual display

Real time display of belt speed, temperature, full coal flow status, and coal quantity can be achieved through the visual interface of the client, and alarm information can be viewed in real time.

10. Voice intercom

Through on-site facial gesture recognition, it is possible to directly call the dispatch room next to the AI camera, and two-way voice intercom can be achieved after the dispatch room answers. The dispatch room can also directly call the AI camera without answering on site, and directly activate the intercom function.
